We deliver large scale grassland enhancement, new meadow creation, and traditional hay meadow management, each tailored to what a site and its history call for.
Some of this work takes place on the most sensitive sites in the region: Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs), Special Areas of Conservation (SACs), and nature reserves, where management has to meet a higher bar and follow the specific conditions attached to that designation. We also manage road verges and roundabouts in collaboration with local councils, turning small, often overlooked spaces into meadow habitat within a wider landscape.
At Enfinium’s Parc Adfer site in Deeside, we’ve enhanced grassland using locally sourced seed and wildflower plug plants taken from nearby SSSIs and North Wales Wildlife Trust nature reserves, alongside leaving areas of vegetation uncut annually to provide overwintering habitat. Total biodiversity units on the site have increased by 25.79 percent since 2022, independently monitored and reported by SLR Consulting, and the project won the 2024/25 Bionet Business Award for Contribution to Biodiversity.
