Habitat Creation & Management

Good habitat doesn’t happen by accident, and it doesn’t stop mattering once it’s planted. We plan it, create it, then manage and monitor it for as long as it takes to prove it’s working, whether that’s part of a new development, a long-term estate management plan, or land a client wants to see doing more for wildlife.

In many situations a Section 106 agreement (a legal agreement attached to a planning permission, requiring specific outcomes to be delivered) or a similar planning condition. We deliver the habitat and provide the monitoring evidence to show it’s meeting that obligation, not just describing it. A named contact stays involved for as long as the land needs managing.

Meadow creation, restoration and management

Creating new wildflower meadow, restoring degraded grassland, or managing existing meadow for long-term biodiversity value, tailored to what the site and its history call for.

Woodland creation, restoration and management

Creating new woodland, restoring an existing one, or managing woodland already in place, matched to the site’s condition and long-term aims.

Sowing cornfield annuals

Fast, visible colour where an immediate result is needed, often to capture attention and support community engagement.

Ecologically sensitive grounds management

Grounds management on sites inhabited by protected species, delivered in full compliance with method statements and planning conditions.

Riparian enhancement

Tree planting and spiling work to strengthen and stabilise river banks, alongside wider improvements to watercourse habitat.

Invasive species control

Large-scale control of species such as Himalayan Balsam, covering landowner identification, liaison and scheduling across a site or catchment.

Bespoke landscaping projects

Landscaping for businesses, councils and community groups, designed around the specific site and its intended use.

Fulfilling environmental mitigation and CSR obligations

Managing land after development to ensure planning obligations such as a Section 106 agreement are genuinely met, or to deliver a corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment, with the monitoring evidence to prove it.
