Meadow creation, restoration and management
We have experience in delivering large-scale grassland enhancement, meadow creation and traditional hay meadow management as well as management of sensitives sites such as SSSis, SACS and nature reserves. We have also carried out much management of road verges and roundabouts in collaboration with councils.
Woodland creation, restoration and management
Our team has broad-ranging experience in woodland creation schemes. We have also led numerous orchard creation projects creating orchards within the community.
Sowing cornfield annuals for instant colour
Where quick visibly results are needed, we are able to create an instant visual impact, by planting cornfield annuals that provide the ‘wow’ factor, capturing attention and encouraging further community engagement.
Ecologically sensitive grounds management
We are equipped to manage land sensitively for sensitive habitats and protected species, always ensuring that appropriate legislation is complied with. We have the equipment and knowledge required to use sensitive techniques, and extensive experience in overseeing sites inhabited by protected species. We ensure full compliance with the Method Statement and other planning conditions, whilst implementing the required habitat management measures.
Riparian enhancement
We are experienced in work to improve river corridors, including tree planting and spiling to strengthen and stablilise river banks.
Invasive species control
We are experienced in large-scale invasive species control, most recently that of Himalayan Balsam, including the identification of landowners, landowner liaison, surveys to identify where the species are present and the scheduling of work to ensure the most timely and effective management.
Bespoke landscaping projects
We carry out bespoke landscaping projects for businesses, councils and community groups.
Fulfilling environmental mitigation obligations
We are equipped to manage land post-development, ensuring all planning obligations are met, and have extensive experience of overseeing sites inhabited by protected species such as great crested newts. We ensure full compliance with the Method Statement and other planning conditions, whilst implementing the required habitat management measures.
Fulfilling corporate social responsibility objectives
Our habitat management team play a vital role in helping businesses fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives through responsible and sustainable land management and engagement with staff and the local community. We actively engage with members of the public providing opportunties to get involved in habitat creation and management.
