Daisy Askari: Assistant Ecologist

Daisy has been working for Enfys Ecology since 2024, having completed a placement year with us in 2022 during her BSc degree course in Applied Terrestrial and Marine Ecology. 

Daisy is an accredited agent on Natural Resources Wales (NRW) bat and great crested newt (GCN) licences. She regularly carries out surveys for protected species including bats, nesting birds, reptiles, newts and water voles. Daisy also assists on dormice surveys and habitat surveys, and is gaining experience in plant identification. Daisy has acted as Ecological Clerk of Works on bat, nesting bird and reptile projects.
